Institution Building

From community need to educational institution.

The story of creating educational opportunity in Dhudray Sharqi, District Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan, beginning with construction in 2011 and the start of classes in 2013.

The Educational Need

Quality education was too far from the community.

The local area was located away from major cities and lacked suitable institutions offering both arts and science education.

Families faced limited options, longer travel requirements and restricted access to structured educational opportunities. Faruukh Nadeem decided that the community should not remain dependent only on distant institutions.

“I did not want students from my area to remain educationally disadvantaged simply because quality institutions were located far from their homes.”
— Faruukh Nadeem
