Danish International Grammar School began as an institution-building initiative in Dhudray Sharqi in 2011, with classes commencing in 2013. In 2014, the school received an official visit from Ch. Muhammad Aslam Sikho, then Chairman of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Gujranwala.
From construction to early institutional growth
The school had been established to expand access to structured educational opportunities in a rural community. By 2014, the campus, teaching environment and administrative systems were continuing to develop as the institution moved through its formative years.
The visit by the Chairman of BISE Gujranwala came at an important stage in that journey, bringing senior educational leadership into direct contact with the school’s developing academic and institutional environment.
The official visit
During the visit, the Chairman and accompanying guests were received at the campus and taken through different parts of the institution. The visit provided an opportunity to present the school’s physical environment, staff organization, teaching approach and the wider vision behind developing a quality educational institution in Dhudray Sharqi.
Leadership in practice
Faruukh Nadeem, who was leading the institution during this formative period, received and coordinated the visit. He accompanied the Chairman and visiting delegation through the campus and presented the school’s developing academic environment, facilities and institutional approach.
The interaction reflected a practical dimension of educational leadership: not only establishing a school, but being able to explain its purpose, systems, teaching philosophy and direction to senior educational stakeholders.
What stood out during the visit
During the visit, the Chairman expressed appreciation for multiple aspects of the institution, including the school building, staff organization, teaching methodology, learning environment, campus ecology and overall institutional development.

This visit represented an early moment of engagement between the developing rural institution and senior educational leadership. It came soon after classes had begun and reflected the progress the school had made from an institution-building idea into a functioning educational environment.
In the years that followed, Danish International continued to expand its academic activities, institutional partnerships and wider educational role. The 2014 BISE Gujranwala visit remains an important milestone within that longer journey of educational leadership and institution building.
